What is the best way to go from emailing to then getting a phone call with the college coach? And why is it so important that you eventually get on a phone call? Emails with the college coach says there's some interest, but you have to think about it kind of like dating. They're talking to a lot of people via email or text. Phone calls, on the other hand, means they really like you and they're really interested. So you want to get to the phone call stage. The other reason it's important is when other coaches ask you, "Who else are you talking to?" and you say, "Yeah, there's other schools I'm exchanging emails with," they're like, "Okay, you know, coaches exchange emails with a lot of people." Phone calls, on the other hand, that's like, oh, this is legit. So the best way is you could cold call them, but to be honest with you, they never pick up the phone and they're busy and they don't know who you are, so it's really not the best strategy. The best thing tends to be to follow up with multiple every-touch videos. If within a 2 to 3 month period you can send them 3 to 4 videos or 2 to 3 videos, then it's much more likely where they're like, you're serious about me, I liked your videos, I want to see you at my camp or my showcase, but I can't, but I really do like you, so could we get on a phone call? And remember, It has to come from them. So because it has to come from them, you don't want to be thinking in your head or as you're messaging, oh, how do I, you know, ask for a phone call? You want them to like you so much that they ask for a phone call. If you want more help playing cold soccer, give us a call, link's in the bio. Talk soon, bye.
