They were laughing at me when I didn't make the varsity team, but they were not laughing at me when I got a full-ride scholarship to play Division I soccer. First they laugh at you, then they say you're lucky, then they ask you, "How did you do it?" And I'm gonna tell you right now. You always hear the term, "Work harder, work harder," and most of you think about training harder, more lifting, more running, but most of this recruiting process is done off the field. So what you should be saying is more emails, more video, more camps, better club teams. That is what's going to make you different than the person next to you, in addition to the hard work you have to do on the field. But you can do all the hard work you want on the field, but if nobody knows who you are, then you won't get recruited. And in the college soccer world, you cannot have an agent, legally anyways. So you must become your own best agent. And the way I teach you to do that is I help you edit all your videos. I help you email the schools in a genuine way. Using our email system that makes your life easier. I tell you which schools may need your position because you must be your best agent. And on top of that, the coaches don't want to hear from your coach. They don't want to hear from me. They want to hear from you. You are a student athlete. They want to know that you want to go to the school. Then yes, your coach following up is helpful. Yes, your coach showing interest for you is helpful, but they need to talk to you. If you want more help, give me a call. Links in the bio.
