I'm a rising sophomore with a 4.0 GPA. How do I get recruited to play Division I college soccer? So of course, the first thing I need to ask you is what club level you're playing at. If you're playing at NPL or NAL or Elite Academy or USL Academy and you're not on an MLS Next or ECNL team, that's okay. But you do want to think about, are there those teams in your area? That's number one. Number two, you have to go to camps. If it's the summertime and you're listening to this, I recommend two MassID camps and one favorite school. So if you have a dream D1 school or dream D3, go to their individual camp and go to two MassID camps. Between those, you would have probably been seen by 10 to 15 schools. Then you can follow up with them, send them video, and then you must ask to go to their game in the fall. If they say yes, great. If they don't say yes to coming to a game, you should still go to a game in the fall. Then tell them you went to the game and explain how you watched them, and the college coach will fall in love with you because anybody that goes to their game in the fall, they will love that much more. And the schedule will soon be out and you will be able to determine which games you want to go to.
