Game just ended and I want to see if I can, uh, say hi to that one striker we were watching. He's right over there. I've got to say hi. Excuse me, Mom and Dad, parents, is this your son JC? I think it is. Um, I make videos on helping kids play college soccer and I was making a video about your son and your coach said some good things and I wanted to say I thought he did really well today. I thought it was great. You played really well and the team didn't get you the ball as often as maybe you would have liked, but his attitude was awesome. He made something out of nothing. Obviously the goal— actually, I was watching before the goal. I actually missed the goal. I saw your back foot and the coach was scored a banger, but I thought it was really good. What year are you? So you graduate in 2027. You're 27? Yes. Okay. That's— yeah, that's awesome. Are you talking— have you had any phone calls with some D3 schools yet? No, not yet. Which I looked at you up actually. What's your GPA? 3.5. Awesome. Do you want to play college soccer? Yes, sir. Do you guys want him to play college soccer? Mom and dad? He's definitely capable. I mean, your coach probably mentioned that to him. I would say, yeah, your athleticism. Where do you— if you could pick where you want to play, where would you maybe want to play? Okay. Have you been to their camp? Yeah, we're going to go visit this week. Okay, cool. I would also, if I may, can I give a piece of advice? June 15th is like when that door opens. So before June 15th, like Occidental was here earlier, these types of schools that's top academic, you want all of them calling you before June 15th, all the D3s as much as you can, because then when San Diego eventually say, how's the recruiting process going, which they will do, you want to be like, I've already spoken to Rod, I've already spoken to all these people. They'll be like, oh yeah, we know all those people. We were at the same game Rod was at, you know, and he was watching your game today. So like, that would be awesome. And then on June 15th, don't just go to their camp like now and expect something to happen June 15th, because you are competing, even though you're younger, which is excellent, competing with the MLS Next kids, and it's just more difficult. And that's who they're going to pick first, just because they see them more often. So then you send them a bunch of video leading up to June 15th. So like every 2 months, here's a video, here's a video, here's my goal at Surf Cup, da da da da. But you have the right, you have the potential. Yeah, good luck, man. I'm Zev. Yeah, I post videos. Yeah, yeah, there you go. Yeah, exactly. Yes. Yeah. So good job, man. Good luck. Good luck, guys. See you guys.
