A recruiter reviews DMs from college soccer prospects and breaks down three offers: Two Bridges Brooklyn FC (NAL), a USL Academy team, and MLS Next Tier 2. MLS Next Tier 2 gets the best exposure, but the right choice depends on your position, GPA, coach fit, and how much you'll actually play.

Going through my Instagram DM messages to see what you guys are asking me to help you guys play college soccer. I read every single DM along with my team, so if you do DM me, I should be able to answer your question. Let's see if I can get into it with you now. Question number 1: I have the opportunity to play for Two Bridges Brooklyn FC, who are going to play in NAL next year, but they also have a USL Academy team and also got accepted to Meadowlands MLS Next Year too. And I also have in mind DSUSC MLS Next. What should I do? So ultimately they're asking between NAL, USL Academy, or or MLS Next Tier 2. What should you pick? Well, NAL, technically speaking, is running MLS 2 from a logistical perspective, but they're not called MLS 2 yet. And the problem with that is they don't get exposure. So right now, on paper, he should probably pick the MLS Next Tier 2. Number 2, though, is USL Academy. So USL Academy is really good, probably a better level than MLS Next 2 or NAL. The problem is they don't get a lot of exposure. So then he's got DIU, DUSC MLS Next. So that's the no-brainer. He should pick that one. It's probably best for exposure. However, the reason I said, can you book a call, is because it does vary. What position does he play? What level does he want to play soccer at? What is his GPA? Which coach is he happy with? How much playing time is he going to get? What grad year is he? I don't know the answer to those questions, so I need him to schedule a call with me and my team so we can try and answer those questions.
