How to get noticed at college showcases. I'm working with one of my clients and she has a showcase this weekend. So the first thing we did a couple weeks ago is I looked at her video and I said to her, look, your video's maybe a C out of A, B, C, D, F. And I said, we gotta fix this. So the first thing we did is we fixed her introduction. We gave the list of accolades that she has. She— we made the best ones first. She has a great GPA, so we put that first. Then she plays at ECL— no, ECNL RL— put that next. And she plays for a good academy team, or a good club team rather. So we put that first. Then after putting all of that information, we had her do a little introduction in her video. And soon I'll get to show you guys what that looked like because she's finishing it now. And basically in that video, she showed herself saying, hi, I'm so-and-so, I'm from here, and I can't wait to have you see me play. So now we got her personality. Then after that, we went through her video. She had arrows and she had done that, which was great, but she kind of had just a bunch of clips all over the place, not the best stuff first. So we put the goals and assists first, then some possession, then some tackles. And I like the close-ups. It really gives the coaches an idea of like how you run. Some of you have not seen me play, and the best way for you to have an opinion of me probably would be to watch me up close. So we did the same thing with her, and then we start emailing schools before the college showcase. Look at all of this is done weeks before.
