3 mistakes you're making as a junior if you want to play college soccer this summer and you're playing ECNL or ECNL RL. Mistake number 1 is at this point you're not booking any ID camps. You must go to ID camps this summer. Now deciding which ones to go to can be problematic, but you must go. Number 2, you have to have more than 1 highlight video. 1 highlight video can get you really far with Division III schools, especially the mid-tier, low-tier, if you also go to their camp. But if you want to save money, and not go to every single camp on planet Earth, if you can send more video, then the one camp you go to could be enough to get recruited. It is your time to shine, meaning college coaches will not be telling you, oh, we're worried about the class before you, or they're worried about the class after you. You are the class they are worried about. You are the one. Some schools are done, some schools still need spots, some schools won't be done for a little bit longer. What you need to know is don't compare yourselves to others because the moment you do that, you're either going to go, I don't need to do anything, or I'm way far behind and it's too late. And it's not that simple. It is different for every school. If you want more help playing college soccer, comment the word call and we can schedule a call with you and your parents.
