Do you wanna play college soccer? Here's the number one mistake you are making. You believe that college coaches are going to come to you because you're on NCSA's profile or you're on SportsRecruit's profile. Do me a favor, go to NCSA's Instagram right now and look up the schools that they have posted about. Those are not the schools that you are probably aiming for. Do you wanna go to University of Gloucestershire? I've not even heard of that school. NCSA is not built for soccer. It might be built for other sports, but soccer is not a place you can depend on. If you wanna go to a traditional NCAA higher-level academic school, you must have your own YouTube, you must have your own Instagram and your own Twitter, and you must email them consistently over time with updates, and you must get seen in person. And I know a lot of you don't like camps, but I'm telling you now, we should be lucky that the NCAA have not made a new rule not allowing camps. 'Cause when that happens, the only way to get recruited would be showcases. And showcases are really hard to get seen at because there's so many kids, you don't touch the ball sometimes, and the coaches have to go watch games for 20, 30 minutes at a time. We should be lucky and think, wow, I'm really lucky ID camps exist. But you don't want to just pick any camp, you want to pick the right ones. To do this process correctly, you have to have a great video because that's what's going to attract them to continue following you. And you need a lot of great video.
