A coach breaks down why mass recruiting emails fail. Use the coach's name, ask about their position needs or recruiting timeline, and skip video feedback requests in your first message. Personalization matters more than volume.

Hey coach, I just sent out like 20 emails and no one's responded. Let me guess, are you using only generic sentences in every single one? And are you not even saying dear coach and not even putting their name in the email? You're not putting a question, especially in the very first email you're sending. Whenever you send an email at the beginning of a relationship, this is like the first initial email, you have to ask a question. Are they looking for your position? What's their timeline for the class of X? If you ask for feedback on your video, they're really not going to respond to you. So it has to be regarding the recruiting process. I'll book a call with the call talker, right? and I can talk to you and your parents, comment, call, and we can help you guys hopefully play college soccer if you are the level. Talk soon.
