Soccer coach Zev Taublieb walks through making an Every Touch highlight video for college recruiters. Log each ball touch with timestamps from the full game, screen-record and edit them together, add circles to mark each play, then send it to coaches alongside the full game footage and the player's jersey number.

Hello, Soccer Guy. How do you do an Every Touch video? Why do you keep talking about Every Touch videos? What is it? This guy asked a very nuanced question. So he says, do you send the whole video of the whole game with times of every touch/action, or do we screen record video of every touch? So that made it sound more confusing. Here's what you're going to do. You're going to watch your full game and you're going to write down every single time you touch the ball and the timestamp that goes with it. So if you touch the ball at 0:43, write down 0:43, passed forward. Do that with every moment. Then screen record each of those moments and then put it into an editing software. You can use WeVideo or give it to Fiverr if you want to, which is a company that will make it for you. And then you're gonna put a circle on each of those plays. Then you're gonna take that, upload to YouTube, and then send that to the coach. And then you'll be able to send to the coach not only the full game with timestamps, but also the every touches. And college coaches love that because it makes it really easy to go through games. They have— it's not a lot— they don't have a ton of time. If you just send them a full game, they're not going to watch it. They need to know who you are. It takes them forever. Make sure when you send them the email, you put your jersey color and your number, so even though you're putting your timestamps, they actually know for sure. Okay, if you need more help playing cards, give me a call. Links in the bio. Bye.
