Before spending any money on an ID camp, you need to ask yourself these two questions. Number one, do they need your position for your grad year? Now, some of you want them to respond to and say, we really like you and we watched your video and we'd like you to come to ID camp. But that's not really realistic, especially in 8th, 9th, 10th grade. What's more realistic is that they say to you, we will be looking for your position for the class of X, or they might say, you were always looking for very good players, in which case you need to go to the ID camp. If you would like to not spend any money because you're afraid it's gonna be a money grab, do not go to any ID camp unless they do the following. Have they been genuinely interested in you? If you're really scared that they're gonna steal your money, and I am a big proponent to say, look, I think you should go to the camp no matter what, but if you are too afraid for them to have it be a money grab, do not go to the camp until they love you. Email them many times over, send them video, ask them, do you actually want me at your school? And if they respond genuinely and it's a, 'We watched your video, we kind of like you,' then don't go. If it's, 'We loved your video, we'd really like to see you,' then go to the camp. And if it still feels like a money grab because you went, then you did everything you could in your power to have the best chance of playing college soccer. And that's really the best thing you can do. If you want more help playing college soccer or you want to know ID camps in your area, comment the word of your initials of your state. For example, INCamp, one word. And I'll be able to send you a list of every single camp in Indiana. Make sure it's INcamp, one word. If you want more help, give me a call.
