How to stand out at college showcases. Make sure you've been emailing back and forth with your said school of interest for 2 to 3 months. That's really the best way for them to actually come watch you play. Remember, there's a good chance you might get injured, you might not be playing that many minutes, that coach might look away and be talking to their mother or their father or go to the bathroom. So make sure you have a lot of conversation leading up to the showcase. Please print out your own pamphlet. Your team will have their pamphlet, but print out your own pamphlet. Think of it like a business card. If you run into a coach, or you can go out of your way to go find a coach, you want to be able to hand them something physical. Put your highlight video in a QR code. Give them a pamphlet. After the showcase, you have to follow up. Maybe they were there, maybe they weren't there. Maybe a different coach saw you. You need to follow up with both the coaches you're interested in and the coaches you think were there, and even some coaches that you think weren't there, with an Every Touch video from the tournament.
