How do you know when a college coach is interested in you? Let's go through a reenactment to show you how you know a college coach likes you. Uh, excuse me, how old are you? This is the first sign that a coach likes you because they're trying to figure out what's your grad year, and that's a good thing. What's your GPA? GPA is a great question because they're trying to figure out if you can go to their school. So at an ID camp, if anybody pulls you aside and asks those two questions, that means the coach is interested. What club team do you play for? It's a great thing to do is wear your backpack with your club team there and even your jersey to the ID camp if you're playing MLS Next or ECNL, because automatically that will get you attention and the coaches will go, okay, plays for a good team. The other thing you could do is wear something bright like a pink shirt or short white socks because that'll make you stand out. But if they ask about your club team, that's a good sign.
