A parent asks Coach Zlatan to pre-read Becky's transcript and athletic profile for a college soccer scholarship. The pre-read takes 4-6 weeks and determines if the school will offer. After that comes a campus visit and looking at flights.

Gary, get in here! We need to talk about how we're gonna request a pre-read.
Who am I? I'm Zlatan Ibrahimović. Oh my gosh!
Oh, Coach Zlatan, I mean, I'm here. What can I help with the pre-read? Okay, so there's a student I really like, her name is Becky, and we gotta get a pre-read from her because if we get the preview, we're gonna tell her how much scholarship we can get her. Okay, Coach, give me one second. I'm gonna email her right now. Becky, we would like to do a pre-read. Could you please send over your transcript? Dad, look, they just requested a pre-read. That's really good, right? Wife, what do you think? Pre-read, is that a good thing? A Read? Well, tell him you can read, obviously. No, no, I spoke to my college soccer guy coach and that's not what this is. This is to see if I can get a scholarship. This is really good. I knew we hired the college soccer guy for a reason, to help us figure out this stuff. Okay, great. So what do we do next? So I'm messaging my college soccer gal coach right now and she's just responded to me already and she said pre-read's a really big deal. It's going to talk about the scholarship. It usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks to get back the pre-read, but basically what I need to do is send my transcript over and that's a good thing. Sweetie, that's great. I'm so proud of you. But okay, we get a pre-read. What do we do next? You know, do we just wait for them to respond? Is there anything else we can do? I got to get on campus. That's what my College Soccer Gal coach tells me to do. Okay, I'm going to start looking at flights. If you want more help with the college soccer recruiting process, we have a team now that helps us get recruited. If you want more help, give us a call. Link's in the bio. I'll talk to you soon. Goodbye.
