Female soccer players are recruited one grade ahead of their actual school grade, meaning most Division I scholarship offers come during junior year. Waiting until sophomore year to start recruiting puts you behind peers already being courted. Comment your state and "college" for a list of schools that recruit at your level.

This is the most important thing you need to know if you are a girl soccer player who wants to play college soccer. You must understand that when you are in 7th grade, you're really in 8th grade. And when you're in 8th grade, you're really in 9th grade. And when you're in 10th grade, you're really in 11th grade. And when you're in 11th grade, you are a senior. And all, if not most, of the offers are going to come to you in 11th grade, maybe going into your senior year. If you want to play Division I, they're going to come to you during 11th grade. The reason this is important is for those of you that say, I will start the recruiting process as a sophomore, that's really dangerous because there are girls who are already being recruited younger than that, and frankly will take the space away from you, and you will not have the same chance to play college soccer. If you want a list of schools that will be done recruiting typically around your junior year, which tends to be top Division I schools or top academic schools, comment your state such as California and the word college in one word, and I'll give you every single school in California or whatever state you're in that will likely have your girls committed by junior, senior year.
