A freshman shares how a recruiting coaching program helped him contact college coaches and attend ID camps early. He credits the automated email tool and confidence-building guidance, and says starting young at camps like 2029 makes him stand out to recruiters at schools like Carnegie Mellon and Emory.

This is one of my students, legend.
You're with Jason, right?
Uh, tell us, as one of my students, what have you liked about what we've done with you so far?
I'm just inviting you to get a little more—
a little louder. So I'll bring it closer.
How much exposure I can get here is how—
getting a head start early is just the best thing to do.
That's excellent. Now, we were working with you. You said you're getting a lot of exposure. That's that email tool we have. Yeah, that's been really helpful. Yes, excellent. And you're working with Jason?
Yeah.
So you don't talk to me directly, but you work with one of my coaches who you do speak with. And do you like Jason?
Yes, a lot.
Excellent. Now, Jason—
I love hearing that. Jason, freaking great job. I talk to you every day. Now, 2029, and he's at an ID camp. Tell him you had the ID camp in 2029. And the reason that's such a big deal is most of the kids that are behind us here are not. Most of them are a little bit older. So he's what we call big fish, small pond, because he's one of the youngest ones here. And so the coaches, if they like him, he will get picked out first because he's younger, which is huge, which I'm very proud of you for. Now, in terms of working with us, if you were to tell other families one day who might want to work with us, what would you tell them is something you like about working Just the fact that the earlier you start and just everything that you do, it's just the fact that it helps, like, speeds up processes.
Like, instead of sending emails by yourself, it's better to just have like a format and then just like write genuine emails to coaches and then get them back. It's just like saying if they're genuine, like just basic, or like if they're gonna mass email lots of people, like, thank you for reaching out. But a genuine email at like this early in the stage is like great for the future.
What he's talking about is we have this cool email system that automatically helps you kind of figure out if it's genuine or generic, which is super helpful, which you found, which is great. The other thing is we're telling you what camps to go to. We're telling you how to talk to coaches so you're brave and confident. And despite, you know, his quote-unquote young age as a freshman, which is one of the younger ones here, if he gets recruited, which he will because he's very good, is now he has a longer range to talk to these coaches for a longer period of time. So would you recommend other people to work with us?
I already did. I already recommend other people.
Legend. Where are your parents? I want to say hi to them.
Right there.
Okay, I'll go say hi to them in a minute. I saw your mom. Legend, who do you want to talk to here?
Carnegie Mellon, Emory, and Trinity.
Excellent, I will talk to them.
Maybe not all three, just like just one.
We'll just start with Carnegie.
Let me just get a photo.
One more photo. Legend, go eat or rest or whatever you want to do.
