What matters more, high school soccer or club soccer? The bottom line answer for most students is club is what matters. High school is basically irrelevant. Now, there are always exceptions to the rule, but for simplicity, since I don't know who you are, and if you want me to get to know you and your situation, please book a call with me so I can talk to you. But on broad scale, no coaches are going to any high school games, so they're not coming to any club league games either. They're going to showcases, which are only affiliated typically with club teams. So that's why club is so important. The other reason is high school varies in level. There's some players that are really good and some are really bad. Some of your high schools might be a really high level, but again, coaches are not coming to your games. So that means high school is really helpful for video, but not going to get you recruited. Club soccer is also not going to get you recruited unless you get seen at a showcase, get seen at 1 to 2 ID camps, and you send a plethora of videos. Usually you're going to need about 4 to 6 videos per year in order to get recruited to play college soccer. If you want a list of club teams in your state, comment the initials of your state and the word club. For example, CA for California and the word club, one word, and you'll get a list of every single club in your state. If you want to book a call with me, comment call, and we can schedule a call with you and your parents.
