Call me link in bio

Student-athletes should prepare full-game video links with timestamp sheets and factual descriptions before coaches ask for them. Include the player's number, what happened on each play, and flag special moments. One athlete sent two games with timestamps and got further evaluation from a coach.

How do you respond to a college coach when they ask for full game video? So one of the things that I have my students do is the moment they start working with me, we start making every-touch videos. Okay, at this point, nobody has asked them for any full game footage, but I know it's coming. It's like I can see the future. It's because I can see the future because I've been doing this for so long. I know exactly the steps that the college coaches are going to want what thing, and I do not want to leave the college coaches hanging. So I know that the question eventually is going to come up, can we please see some full game video? Now coaches don't want full game video where you just go, here's my video, coach. They don't know what number you are, they don't know what color you are, they don't want to have to look for So you have to create a full game timestamp. So I'm really proud of one of my students. I'm not going to name him because he doesn't want to be named, but he knows who he is. Since the very beginning, we've been working together for years now, actually years, because we started like sophomore year. We knew this was coming, and it had happened before this, but I just want to share it with you, where the coach was like, look, we really like your highlight video, we want to see some full game footage. This is really influential because after this, it could mean seeing— be being seen one more live in person and then an offer. Like, that's what it could mean. So What's lovely is this player already had it ready. As you can see here, they put the link to the game so it's easily accessible, and then the timestamps, and they explained what they did in each timestamp, and they have 2 games. And then they highlighted moments that were special, but they didn't say like, hey, this is like the best pass ever. Just said a beautiful ball, so that way the coach knows, okay, here are some highlights. Also, it says to the coach, hey, these are moments that the player thinks are good moments. Like let's say you put on here beautiful nutmeg and then got fouled. A coach might go, that's kind of cocky, don't put that. So whenever you compliment these things, this is helping you, but you want to make sure that you put in there like good moments. Put in the facts, cross the ball left, cross the ball right, that's the best thing. But then if there are some extra special moments, absolutely highlight those because the coaches want to be able to fast forward to those, etc.
