High school soccer players can gauge college interest by asking coaches in recruiting emails: "I'm working on coming to one of your games this fall. Is there a game you recommend I attend?" How they reply signals whether they want you there, helping you decide which schools to prioritize.

This student, in the month of August, got over 50 responses because he added this one question into his emails. "I'm working on coming to one of your games this fall. Is there a game you recommend I attend?" Now, some of you are going, "Well, you can't ask that question 'cause you're not gonna go to every game." Of course not. You're not gonna go to every school's game. Just like when they email you, "Can you come to your camp?" You can't go to every single camp. What you're doing here is, first of all, you're gauging how much they like you. Because if you've had previous conversations with them and you ask this question and they say, 'We'd love to have you on campus,' like they've done for our students in the past. Right here, they literally told this student, 'We'd love to have you on our game, and we want to get on a phone call with you.' You are able to gauge their interest. So if they say, 'Do you come to any game?' Well, then they're not that interested in you, and you should probably move on. Or if it's your dream school, go anyways. Or, but if they tell you, 'Hey, you know, we'd actually like to have you and have you meet with the players and have you come on a visit and make it an official visit,' or, 'Why don't you come train with the team?' which is exactly what happens to our players, then all of a sudden you went from zero to hero. If you want more help, comment 'call,' and I can schedule a call with you and your family for free to see if I can help you play college soccer.
