A coach tells a soccer recruit to email every school at an upcoming showcase, even ones she doesn't know, then mention interest from one coach to spark others. Out-of-state programs often offer full rides that big local schools won't.

Hey coach, I have a showcase coming up. What should I do to get ready for this college showcase? Well, first of all, congratulations that your team is going to showcases. It's really important that your club team goes to showcases. If you don't know if they're going to showcases, you have to make sure you ask them. But since you are going, here's what you need to do. Okay, I'm listening. Can you just get to the point already? Okay, sorry. So here's what you need to do. First of all, you got to send an email to not necessarily every school that's attending, but almost all of them. Not necessarily because you want to go to all those schools, but remember, these These coaches all know each other. So if one school shows interest in you and another coach didn't get to see you, well, now later on you could potentially mention to the other coach that you want to know that you— hey, this coach recognized me and messaged me, but I haven't heard from you. Can I find out if you came to my game? Could I confirm you're at our game, or may I politely send you video of the game? Okay, yeah, I didn't think of that. I wouldn't have really ever emailed anybody that I don't know. Well, let me ask you a question. Do you know every single college soccer team? Are you familiar with every coach? No, of course not. I mean, I only I only care about the ones I know about. UCLA, Stanford, LMU, UC Irvine. Okay, that's amazing, but those are all California schools. You know, I went to school in Indiana and had the best time ever, and it was because I was open-minded to other schools in different states, and they gave me a full ride because they had more money. Did you just say full ride? If you want more help, comment "call" and schedule a call with you and your parents.
