SoccerGuyOnline attended Elite Soccer ID Camp and explains how it actually works: you request specific coaches to meet you, get an evaluation sheet rating your level and style, and coaches become references for other programs. The camp operates in California and the Midwest, expanding to the East Coast.
One of the best Mass ID camps to go to is called the Elite Soccer ID Camp. It's hosted now in California and the Midwest and soon to be on the East Coast. And I was there recently and I learned these 3 things. Hi guys, my name is Zev, called SoccerGuyOnline if you haven't seen me already, and I'm excited to watch you guys all here. Number 1, there's a big myth that if there's a ton of coaches there and a ton of players, you don't get seen. Well, that is true in many camps, What makes this camp particularly special is you send in which coaches you want to see, and the director, a guy named Rod who's a college coach himself, makes sure that you get to speak to the coach in which you want to be recruited by. So this is what makes this camp particularly special. Number 2 is you get an evaluation sheet. Now most evaluation sheets typically show like how good you are, like should you work on your technique or your physicality. And the truth is, you guys want feedback to get better at soccer, obviously, but that's not really what you're there for. You're there to get recruited. So there's another section of their sheet that the coaches give you where it says what level should you play and what kind of style of soccer would be best for you. And those two questions are crazy important, and that evaluation is so key that you could actually share it with other coaches across the country. And number three is they are strongly encouraged, the coaches, to watch you even if you end up not being recruited by them, they will be a reference for you for other coaches who may not see you in person. So one of the problems you're gonna face through this process is they're gonna say, I really like you, I just need to see you in person. And that may not be able to happen consistently. So instead, when you go to this camp, say you wanna go to Northwestern, but you get seen by the Caltech coach more, just hypothetically. You could say to the Caltech coach, could you be a reference to me for Northwestern? And they will be a reference for you if you do well at this camp. That's what makes it so special. If you want a discount code to this camp and you're a girl, you can comment the word Zev 100. If you're a boy, the spots are filling up fast and you better get going super quick. If you want help getting recruited, call me. Links in the bio, and I'll talk to you and your parents soon.
