After an ID camp, email the coach asking what level you should aim for, not whether they like you. A Division I coach saying you belong in Division I means they're interested; if they suggest Division III, they're not. Use their assessment as a credential when contacting lower-level schools.

How do you know if you're on a coach's watch list after you've attended an ID camp? And the answer is, you'll never know that, and you'll never really know if you're being recruited by them until you literally know you're being recruited by them, in which case they tell you. After an ID camp, you must email them and ask them, what level do you believe I should aim for? Do not ask them, do you like me? What feedback should I get? You have to ask them what level, because if they tell you, I think you're Division I, and they're a Division I school, that's their way of saying, we like you. If on the flip side they say, we think you should aim for Division III, and they're a Division I school, that means they don't like you, and you got an answer back and now you can go focus on Division III schools. We just had a student recently send some emails out and in those emails we said, coach, after seeing me at the ID camp, what level do you believe I should aim for? And they told him, we think you're a DIII player. But it was from UW, a really top Division I school. So we took the exact message that the coach sent and said, hi Division III school, I just was at the UW camp, he thinks I'm good enough for a top academic DIII school. I'm reaching out to you because you're a school that I'd like to go to. And the U-Dub coach says, "You're a type of school I can aim for." Now that Division III coach is way more likely to respond to us and like us because we're being referenced by another coach who has seen us in person. If you want more help, comment "call" and we can schedule a call with you and your parents.
