Do you have any tips for me trying to make the ODP team? If you want to play ODP, here are 3 things you need to do. Number 1 is obviously you need to play well for your team in your local area. Number 2 is you can email ODP coaches. Their emails can be found online. And number 3, the most important thing, is if you get interest from college coaches first, it is very likely that those coaches either work in the ODP environment or better yet those college coaches can help you get interest from ODP. And remember, the whole point of ODP, if you're gonna play ODP, is so that way you play college soccer. So if you play ODP in order to play college soccer, it's really helpful 'cause you can put it on your resume. But at the end of the day, the reason you wanna play ODP is so you can play college soccer. So if you don't play ODP and you still get to play college soccer, great. My job is to help you play college soccer. And playing ODP and putting it on your email as quote unquote your resume, I don't need you to have a separate resume, but your ODP in your email is helpful. So to play ODP, you want to ask your local college coaches, but go directly to the college coaches. Go to ID camps, send them emails, and then you will get interest from ODP, which will then get you further interest from college coaches.
