What should you do if you're not living near any ECNL or MLS NEXT team? So the first thing is you must come to the reality that you may not get to play at the highest levels of Division I soccer even if you are good enough. And the reason for that is the coaches are going to pick whoever they can see the most because they are there to win games, and if they can't see you all the time, then they want to pick the kids they can. The second thing is you still deserve to play college soccer. So in terms of picking which camps to go to, you must get genuine interest before. You must start earlier in the process than another student who might live in in the big city because they can get seen tomorrow at an ID camp, where for you it's a little bit more of a hassle. We have a student in Alaska, they had to start in 8th grade year because that's a far place to get recruited from. We have another student who's in Hawaii who just got committed. They had to start earlier and go to more camps. Now picking which camps to go to is dependent on the genuine interest, your realistic goals, and your level, and frankly, I know which camps you should probably go to. If you comment the initials of your state in one word with CA camps, you'll be given a list of every single one. But that doesn't mean those camps are still right for you. I don't know anything about you, so that's when we would book a call and I can learn a little bit about where you live and how do we still get recruited despite you living in a difficult area. If you want more help, schedule a call, links in the bio.
