A college soccer recruiting coach shows how a polished highlight video, professional outreach email, and social media presence generated over 50 coach responses for one junior player. He says recruiting must start in junior year; waiting until senior year makes offers much harder.

Why my student is receiving literally 50+ emails. Let me show you. Right here are all the emails that this girl's receiving. I keep going, I keep going, I keep going, I keep going. Oh my gosh, all of these emails, and these aren't even all of them. I already responded to her and told her how to respond to these earlier. With this particular girl soccer player, the biggest thing is when she came to me, we needed to fix her video. Upon spending time, and we took a lot of time to fix her video, we then sent it out with appropriate email, and she had some showcases coming up. We got all these responses. To me, this really proves that if you're a good soccer player with the right package, meaning the right video, the well-written email, you will get recruited to play college soccer. So if you're not, if you think you're a good enough player, then you probably don't have the right package. And of course, that's what I'm trying to help you with. These are not just generic emails, which could be the case. There are a couple of course generic ones, but there's some really genuine ones like this one. This one says, thanks for reaching out and enjoyed watching you play. Thought you had a great possession. Let me know if you have additional questions. I've included our brochure. Let me know it, what additional tournaments you're going to attend. So this coach wants to see more of her. Is it an offer today? No, but it is coming. It is coming. And the biggest thing I like to say is it's the package. Now, the same girl is starting her Instagram page, her Twitter page, and putting that all together is why the recruiting process starts. I actually don't really work with seniors past the month of January of their senior year because getting recruited at that stage is so difficult and challenging. But at this stage with her, she's a junior. By the time she is a senior, in her case, she would probably have an offer. But even if, say, she didn't have an offer by her senior year, her communication with these coaches would be like so deep. She would have had so much. That's why it's really difficult if you're a senior, like, I'm just going to get started in the process today, because you're so far behind everyone else. Like, this coach is going to watch this girl many times, seen her video. He left— this coach left their cell phone. We're going to follow up with them. So please You need to create your package, self-interview, coach interview, write the correct email, follow up in the correct way. Otherwise you won't get recruited. Like, that's a big piece of this. Okay, talk soon. If you need help, give me a call. Links in the bio.
