Well, one argument is that the level of the player is not quote-unquote good enough for Division I. But I will tell you, I was recruited personally only by Division II and Division III, and there was only one coach at the Division I level who really, really liked me, and that coach is the one I ended up playing for, and I ended up playing Division I. But when it comes to Division I, part of it is what do you want? Do you really want to have your life all year round be obsessed with college soccer? If that's you, then you want to aim for Division I. But the other part of it is exposure rate. So college coaches at Division I must see you 4 to 6 times in person. One of those can be an ID camp. The other one can be a showcase. If you want more help, comment, call, and we can schedule a call with you and your parents.
