Zev Taublieb breaks down college soccer recruiting for an ECNL striker with a 3.7 GPA. Division III is realistic; Division II is possible. I play ECNL, I'm a striker, I have a 3.7 GPA, can I play Division I college soccer? So right off the bat, I'm going maybe. This is very promising. Great grades, high level, and you're a striker, which probably means you've got some pretty good highlights. You can probably automatically play Division III soccer at some level, debating, you know, what school you're trying to look for, and you could probably play Division II soccer as well. So that's fantastic, really good job. The next thing I would say is regarding Division I, it's gonna be about how much interest you have from Division IIIs and Division IIIs, 'cause eventually you might need to leverage them. How much phone calls you've had with a Division I school, because you need a lot of phone calls before you're just gonna get interest. And let's say you're a junior, then I would say it really depends on how much genuine interest you have. If you're still a sophomore, then I would say the world is yours per se, because you have the opportunity to message schools quite a bit. To get that genuine interest. You're gonna need to go as a junior to 4 to 5 Division I ID camps that are genuine, and they're gonna have to come to your showcase about 2 to 3 times between your sophomore and junior year. If they coming and they have confirmed with you phone calls and start requesting your transcripts or even take you on a visit in the spring, then I think you can definitely play Division I college soccer.
