Hey, assistant coach, I just saw Johnny play at the showcase and I thought he was pretty good. I didn't get to see a lot of him. What did you think? Hey, coach, I got to see him as well and I thought he was pretty good at the showcase, but I just don't have enough of him yet to get like a clear picture. He's only a sophomore, so he's got a lot of room to grow. I'm really glad I got to see him as a sophomore because then we can watch him develop. But, you know, I think we have to see him in an ID camp. Yes, I think an ID camp would be a good idea just so we could work with them in close in person. I bet you we could probably also put them with the older age kids to see how he does. He might even break under pressure, and maybe he turns out not to be the right fit for us. That's a really good point. I think we should invite him to the ID camp, so I will send him an email. Mom, Dad, I just got an email from the coach. They want me to come to an ID camp. I mean, and they watched me at the showcase. That's a pretty big deal, isn't it? Well, they saw you at the showcase. Why the heck do they need to see you at an ID camp? Now we have to pay and go. Seems a little bit unreasonable. Well, at the showcase, I didn't play that much, and, you know, it wasn't like we had the ball the whole time. It's kind of a compliment they're coming to watch me, you know, given I'm only a sophomore. That's a good sign, isn't it? I'm telling you, son, they just want our money. They don't really like us. They're just saying they saw you, but they didn't even really watch and they just want our money. But what if they don't just want our money? Like, yes, they, we do. I know mom and dad, we have to pay for the ID camp, but what if they really like me? This is a school I'm really interested in. Sweetie, I think our son would really like this camp. We're not going to go to every camp, but you know, they've shown a lot of genuine interest. We follow this guy named the Called Soccer Guy and he says this is kind of the time we would go to ID camps, especially given his expertise and his age if they're complimenting us. Okay, fine.
