The College Soccer Guy shows how video clips of college players at UCSB, Portland, Air Force, and other programs can help high schoolers gauge their readiness for NCAA soccer. Rondos and scrimmage footage reveal technical ability; comparing them to your own video shows if you're at that level. He offers to connect you with a former student now at UCSB.

Can you post— okay, I'm just gonna summarize that message real quick. I'm the College Soccer Guy, I help you play college soccer. This guy was talking about a post I made with a bunch of college soccer players, including myself playing with them, and just a picture of Division I through Division III all playing together to show that the level between Division I and Division III is very small. Now he was asking, could you— I was a picture that I was showing, could I show a video of college soccer players in a scrimmage? And I'm gonna do that right now. This is the YouTube page of Nalu Mack, who's in the photo. This is him right here in blue, UCSB, and this is them doing some training sessions and kind of what they're doing. This is at the same field that the photo was in. Right now they're just doing passing drills. I know personally, like, for highlight video purposes, this is not super helpful, but when you go to rondos, rondos is super helpful when it comes to college soccer. And all these players— this guy plays at Portland, this guy played at Air Force, uh, the blue one disappeared, UCSB— these are all college soccer players. Here's them doing some one-on-one battles. And this type of thing, like these clips, are really helpful even for highlight videos for you high school kids. If you guys are doing sessions like this, we love seeing how hard you're working. And like this player played at Salt Lake, these are really high-level players. So if you're playing with your friends and they're all good soccer players, making clips like this actually could be really helpful. Here is that same player that was in blue scoring a goal. This was on national television for USA SB. This particular goal, he kind of just taps it in. But you're going to see here, he scores here, right there. That's him. That's the one you were just watching. And he scores for UCSB against UNLV. That player has worked with me for a number of years, and we know each other really well because he was one of my students, and now he's playing at UCSB. And this is his little testimonial that he did after working with me. And he's a really good human being, and he's somebody that can really be valuable. If you want to know about the process, I can connect you to him. So you can talk to him about, like, the recruiting process too. What you're trying to figure out is, like, are you the level in comparison to these college kids? And video is really helpful to compare your son or daughter to these college players to know if you're the level. And it can be difficult even through video to do that. This is why you need somebody in your life, whether it be a coach or somebody else, that can either introduce you to these types of players so you can literally train with them, whether it be an older team or somebody you know to do a private coach, Or you need to talk to an expert. Could be your coach, could be me, saying, hey, based off of what I've seen of your son or daughter, I think they can play at this level and they're heading in this direction because they're an expert in understanding what that level looks like. If you want more help playing college soccer, give me a call. Link's in the bio. Talk soon.
