I just had a mother tell me that they are worried their daughter is going to get cut from their college soccer team. What do they need to do, and what do you need to learn from that? So this mother messaged me on Instagram and says, look, my daughter's redshirting at X school. I'm concerned that she's going to get cut. If that's the case, we don't know what will happen because she really likes the school, she wants to stay there, but because of the new NCAA rule that's happening, she may get cut, and we're afraid to go into the portal. She could just stay at the school and quit soccer, but we don't know what to do. And this is going to happen to a lot of students, and it's really scary. So if you're in high school going into college, you need to know there's a reality, which is why one of one of the reasons we reach out to multiple schools is just in case your coach gets fired, the schools that recruited you in high school can actually help us transfer if, God forbid, we need to do so. We can actually have connections already. But for somebody like her, what she's going to have to do is consider having a real honest conversation with the coach before the season ends. She cannot wait for the season to end and then decide what's going to go happen. She's gonna have to about 2 to 3 weeks before— it's gonna be, coach, I love this team, I don't want to leave, I love you, but I'm worried about my future, what do you suggest I do? And then hopefully they'll give her an honest evaluation. And then if she has to go into the portal, then that's a whole new animal. I can help with that. It's complicated process, but we can help you. If you're in high school, please take note that you must reach out to multiple schools in case your coach one day gets fired or there's a new NCAA rule, and there will always be a new NCAA rule. If you want more help, comment "call" and we'll schedule a call with you and your parents.
