What are the best showcases in order to get seen by college coaches? Basically, if you want to play Division 1 soccer, you have to get seen at a showcase 4 to 6 times in order to get recruited. So what are the best showcases? Typically speaking, the best showcases are the following: MLS Next Playoffs or MLS Next Flex or the Adidas Cup, obviously the Generation Cup. Those are the best, okay? There's a kid right now, Matty, who just got committed to Georgetown. He plays for LAFC too. He played at Generation Adidas, Georgetown saw him, there he goes. So that's the obvious one. ECNL Playoffs are another great one, or any ECNL showcases are fantastic. This This is exactly why you kind of have to play at these levels. And if you're not going to playoffs and you're not going to MLS NEXT FLEX, then you will get less opportunities. Surf Cup is a huge tournament, even if you're not playing in the ECNL, MLS NEXT World. Dallas Cup, which I was actually part of a team that won Dallas Cup many years ago, it's an awesome way to get recruited. Not as much as it used to be.
