What exercises do you do and training drills do you do and games you do at a college soccer ID camp, specifically UCLA's? First thing they're doing is some type of variation of a Y-esque drill. And often what they'll do, which is super organized, see how they put everyone in teams? That's super professional because they're professional coaching staff. And right now they're doing passing drills. In the passing drills, what they're really looking for is who's communicating, who's looking over their shoulder, who's checking away from the cone back to the cone, and who's pinging it in. Who's confident enough to go, you know what, I'm going to pass this so firm, not too hard, but like so firm that this makes me and shows that I am a confident player. And I can tell you the level is quite good over there. Goalkeepers doing their own type of session. They start with their feet and the coaches really get to work with you, you know, really close up in person, which is freaking awesome. And the goalkeeper coaches is very, very good at UCLA.
