High school soccer players should give coaches specific time windows for calls, not vague availability. Make sure they've seen 2-5 highlight videos or watched you play in person first. If a coach doesn't call, you call them. Division III programs especially need video evidence.

Here's what to do if you haven't received any phone calls from any college soccer coach. When a coach does ask for a phone call, be sure to suggest times that you're available. Don't say, "Yes, I'm looking forward to hearing from you tomorrow." Say, "I'm available from dot dot dot to dot dot dot between dot dot dot and dot dot dot, and I'm happy to arrange my schedule around yours." Give them specific times to call you. If they don't call you, follow up with them or call them. Before you can start asking for phone calls, college coaches either need to have seen 2 to 5 videos of you or they need to have seen you in person. Please send 2 to 4 every-touch videos. This is especially valuable for Division III schools who will want to see video and will then be able to give you a call. If you want more help playing college soccer, give me a call.
