If you are in MLS NEXT as a boy or ECNL as a girl, you must know these 3 things. Number 1, you need to have an IMG and a Twitter page. It is important. It is about 15% of the recruiting process can come through social media. For girls, Twitter is really important. For boys, Instagram is really important. Number 2, you must understand that showcases is how you play college soccer and everything you do— Instagram, emails, ID camps, is so the coaches come to your showcase and they have so many people they can consider and they have to come to your game and actually see you play. And all of that is up in the air. So you must do everything you can to get them to come to your showcase. Number 3, individual ID camps for you is really powerful. The problem if you're not playing MLS Next Pro East now and you go to a camp, the coaches go, you're pretty good today, but I don't really know what the level is of you and other people in your own league.
