A high school soccer player's guide to emailing college coaches: attach a highlight video, cc the assistant and volunteer coaches, and ask about their recruiting timeline or positional needs.
If you have not received any phone calls from any college coaches, please do this. First of all, you need to be following up with video. Do not just follow up with no weapons. Your weapon is video. So please, when you follow up with coaches, follow up with video. When you follow up with coaches, be sure to CC not only the assistant coach but this volunteer assistant as well. So you're going to send a message to the head coach and and CC everyone else. When you are at towards the end of your email or even at the beginning of the email, depending, I want you to ask a question. One of the questions you can ask is, what is your recruiting timeline for the class of 2025? Or, are you recruiting X position for the class of X? If you want more help playing college soccer, give me a call. Link's in the bio.
