If your kid wants Division I soccer, waiting until late teens is too late. Elite programs start scouting at 13-17, recruiting from ECNL, MLS Next, and even Premier League academies. Start building their profile now or they'll get left behind.

No, you're not going to start recruiting a 10, 12-year-old, but you better understand the rules to get recruited by this time. So kids, show this to your mom and dad. If you are not playing by 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, or trying to play ECNL or MLS Next, the amount of exposure you're going to get is extremely limited. All of you think you're recruiting or competing with the people next to you. This kid is not competing with that kid to play college soccer. You're competing with kids globally, especially at the Division 1 level. Division 1 level are recruiting kids from Premier League youth academies. There are so many people that want to play college soccer, so if you do not start early enough, you will be left behind and there will be nobody to help you. So start right away. Call me if you want help.
