How to actually reach MLS NEXT and ECNL youth soccer programs. Skip generic academy emails and instead contact the camps department, check LinkedIn for staff names, or reach out to LAFC SoCal directly. Starting outreach at ages 7-10 with a video dramatically improves your odds.

How can I find the emails of all the MLS NEXT or ECNL teams in my area so I can get interest from them?
Okay, let's take the example of finding the emails at LAFC.
First of all, you're always going to have the generic email like academy, tryouts@LAFC, da da da. You can always email them and you should because you never know, but odds are they're not going to respond to that.
So the first thing I want you to do is click on camps. Now, the reason that's important is because these are people that work within the organization, so now you can talk to them in person about, you know, how to actually get a tryout.
Now they have organizations all the way down to the U11 level, so the earlier you get in, the way more likely chance you have getting recruited. Now we found our first email, camps@lafc.com. So first of all, they do want your money. So if you do email this organization and say, I'm trying to come to camp, but blah blah blah, something's happening, we can help you with that email. You're going to get contact with somebody, and that's the first step.
Now the obvious answer is you click on Academy tryouts and you, you know, go to these tryouts and they give you the dates. And this is ideally what you want to do as soon as you can, especially at an early Okay, the next important piece is if you go to the About section, you'll be given some names. So all of these names can be found on LinkedIn and you could directly message them. Now they may not respond to you, but having a name is very important in this particular process.
In the case of LAFC, I have found it very difficult to find any emails, but what I did find some digging is LAFC, the MLS team, is associated with LAFC SoCal, which is a youth organization formerly known as Real SoCal. Their information, if you look up LAFC SoCal ECNL, their contact information is readily available. So if you do really well with them, the odds that you could then play for LAFC go up. Now you can do all this contact information, but if you're not a good soccer player, then it can defeat the purpose. The other thing is if you send them an email without video, that also does nothing. So if you want to go into an MLS academy, the sooner you begin— I'm talking like 7, 8, 9, 10— to go to tryouts and getting picked at a young age is much easier than getting picked when you're 14, 15, 'cause they already have their best kids, and it's really hard to be better than the kids they already have, hence those kids started really young and got on their team. So if you wanna go to any MLS Academy team, it can be hard to find an email, but to go to the tryouts at a young age is the secret. If you want more help, give me a call, links in the bio. Talk to you soon, goodbye.
