3 things you need to do if you want to get a pre-read from a college soccer team. I'm The College Soccer Guy and I help you play college soccer. What is a pre-read? So a pre-read is when a school determines they want to recruit you and say, I want to see not only your transcripts, but I want to submit your transcripts and any extra accolades to the said university. So this is typically done for top academic schools where a Carnegie Mellon, an NYU will say, We think we want to recruit you. Can you please send us your transcript so we can submit it to our admissions department? And then admissions will say, this student is currently on track to potentially be a candidate to be recruited as an athlete or potentially even get into the school. So what's particularly special about pre-reads is, let's say, forget soccer for a second. Let's just say you want to focus on academics only and soccer is something you don't care about that much. Now, if that's the case, you wouldn't be watching me. But the point is to say, if you just were to focus on the academic part. Because of sport, you can find out if you're on the right track. Imagine if a normal student who wanted to go to an Ivy League could submit their applications as a junior and say, "Hey Yale, am I on track to get into Yale?" And Yale could respond with, "Yes, you're on track. If you keep doing this, we will get you into Yale." If you want more help playing college soccer, give me a call.
