The College Soccer Guy explains how to spot a real college soccer camp invitation: a coach praising your highlight video or saying they need your position. He recommends Future 500, where coaches watch scrimmages without coaching, and Masters for strong students in grades 8-10 seeking early Division I exposure.

What ID camps do I recommend you go to as the College Soccer Guy? I am the College Soccer Guy and I help you play college soccer. Let's go through the approved list. Okay, we're gonna split these into two categories really quickly. You've got individual ID camps. Individual ID camps you should go to if you get a genuine invitation. Genuine invitation is basically if they compliment your highlight video, it's a genuine invitation. Or if they say they need your position, that's a genuine invitation. These are the schools I recommend you go to. Again, for me to customize it for you though, we would have to get on a call because it depends on your grades, your major, your academic goals, and what level you wanna play. But here are the best camps across the board for getting noticed. Number 1 is Future 500. The reason this one's the best is the coaches do not coach during the camp. When the coaches have to coach and they go, you're gonna learn from us, they can't really recruit you, right? They're focused on the drill, they're focused on players. Of course, they're still very capable of picking out which players are good and not good, but they don't just get to watch you. At Future 500, they don't do that. They just play scrimmages or short-sided games and they're just there to watch you. That's why Future 500 is one of the better camps. Next one I put on the list is Masters. Masters is specifically for top academic students, and I recommend this camp if you're in 8th to 10th grade. Once you hit junior year, I think this camp's kind of a waste of time, mainly being if you want to play for the Division I schools at the camp by junior year and you go to the camp, all the D1 schools are going to tell you are, hey, now I know who you are, what's your showcase schedule, and send us your video. If you want more help in finding out which camps you should go to, comment call, and we can schedule a call with you and your parents.
