10 questions you should ask a college coach when you go on a visit. So here are those 10 questions. How come you enjoy coaching at Middlebury? What position did you play growing up? Number 3, soccer questions are really good. So a question like, what formation do you guys play the most? I watched some of your games and I saw 4-3-3. What's this? How would you describe your system of play? Number 4, what makes your school different to other schools, say, in your conference? "Where did you play college soccer and how did your recruiting process go?" Number 6, how do you deal with a player who gets injured? If you're a high schooler, you might ask, "How many transfers do you like to bring in?" Then you can ask them, "Do you like, what do you like about coaching here?" Like why, we mentioned that question before, but what do you in particularly like about coaching at this school? And then let them brag about it. And then I personally, which is different to other people, I like when you ask personal questions like, "Do you have any brothers or sisters? Did they play sports? Where did you grow up?" Getting personal to me shows that you really care about them as a person and goes such a long way. And then of course you wanna ask, what's the day in the life like for a student at your school? What time do they go to class? What time do you usually have training? And then finally, you know, do you guys, how do you approach the off-season? Is it running only? Is it fitness? You know, what happens during the off-season? And on top of that, I want you to ask questions that really tell you about them as a human so you can find the school you actually wanna go to. If you want more help, give me a call. Thanks for watching.
