In this monologue, the speaker—known as the College Soccer Guy— recounts a recent interaction between one of his students and a Division I coach from St. Louis. He reads and deconstructs the coach’s email, emphasizing its genuine tone and the student’s uncertainty about its authenticity. The speaker explains that his own program is designed to dramatically increase a player’s visibility to college recruiters, claiming it can generate ten times more “eyeballs” on athletes. He stresses that while he can help players attract attention, the ultimate outcomes—such as receiving a scholarship or a coach’s personal interest—are beyond the player’s control. The speaker also offers practical advice on how to answer the common recruiter question, “How is the recruiting process going?” and concludes with a promotional call‑to‑action, urging viewers to click the link in his bio for further assistance with the complex recruiting process.

I'm the College Soccer Guy and it's story time again with one of my students who this time is talking to St. Louis, baby, Division I. Thank you for email. Hope you're doing well. How is the recruiting process going? Question mark. Makes that genuine. We are looking forward to coming out to scout you at your game. Super genuine. We are currently still playing in the NCAA tournament. That's so cool. As soon as we finish our season, I will be hitting the recruiting trail. Look forward to watching you, Mr. Stoll. But first, I want to reiterate that Do I have a personal connection with Mr. Stoll? I do not. But my students talking to him, how is that possible? This is the magic. I call it the magic, but it's really the work of the program that I've created. It takes students who are, of course, good soccer players, maybe not getting responses, and gets 10 times more eyeballs on them, which then allows them to hopefully get recruited. Now, will this player get committed to St. Louis? I don't know. My role here, and so is your role, is just to increase your chances of playing college soccer and get as many coaches as possible to watch you, to get as many eyeballs on you as possible. That is the goal of the recruiting process. The rest of it is out of your control. You cannot control if they like you, you cannot control if they give you a scholarship. You can just control your ability to reach out to get more eyeballs on you. And I believe that I am an expert in helping you do just that. And this is one of my students who's proving me to be helping him. Great grammar, Zev Taublieb. So naturally what the student's gonna do is he's gonna send his schedule to this person. And this particular student wasn't really sure if it was genuine. He asked me, is this genuine or generic? And it's super genuine. Now we can't forget the coach asked him, how is the recruiting process going? So how do you answer that question? How is the recruiting process going? You're going to get that question a lot. If you'd like help with this process, let me know because it's complicated and I want to help you. And, uh, click the link in the bio.
