3 things you should never do if you're a junior and you want to play college soccer. Number 1, you should not be going to any more Mass ID camps with multiple schools. That boat has passed. 90% of the time when you go to those mass camps, they're just going to invite you to their individual camp. Number 2, you should not be going to almost any camp unless you have genuine interest before you go. This could very well mean that for many of you, you're not getting genuine interest from the Division 1s, So you need to start emailing lower-level schools. Number 3, you can no longer send emails that are generic. Almost every email you have to send must be genuine. At this point in the process, you should have already emailed your backup schools and have narrowed it down to your top-level schools where you're spending time writing genuine interest and complimenting them on their soccer and their video. Now I say this very black and white to scare some of you, but also to help you make decisions on what you should do in the process. There are always exceptions. We have some juniors that should go to Mass ID Camp. We have some juniors who should be emailing backup schools still based off their situation. It depends on how good you are. So if you would please schedule a call, I can take a better look at your situation. Call me, links in the bio.
