This is the secret nobody told me about in order to almost guarantee playing Division I soccer. Now, of course, you have to be good at soccer and all those other things, but if you get a call on June 15th of your sophomore year, which is the official date in which they're allowed to respond to you, you have a 95% chance of playing Division I soccer. So everything you should be thinking about prior to June 15th of your sophomore year, starting as soon as freshman year, especially, most importantly, sophomore year, which is when you should really start this process, is how do you get a call on June 15th? And here are 5 ways to do exactly that. And the last one I think will be really important for you 'cause I'm gonna give you a word you could comment to give you some more help. Number 1 is you need to go to camps of the D1 schools, even if you're maybe not the level or you're not sure if you're the level, because you need to find out if you are the level, and they will tell you. If you are the potential level, so if you're MLS Next or ECNL, they will guaranteeingly see you, which is really important. You cannot depend for them to come to your games. Like, if you're playing for San Jose or Sacramento Republic or an MLS Next team, yeah, you might be really good, but you can go to their camp and then they will really know you. Number 2 is full game video. So every-touch videos are key. You need about 4 to 6 of them throughout the course of a year. 3, you have to email them every 2 months or so with updates, even when they can't respond. I know it's like you're like feeding it into a world that you can't hear back from, but they are receiving it on the other end. Number 4 is invite them to your showcases, even if they don't come. It is still so helpful because now they know that you go to those level of showcases, they know who you are, and if they do decide to come and watch you, then that's a game changer. Number 5 is social media. If you can start sophomore year, your social media will play a big role in the recruiting process. If you don't start it until junior, senior year, it just, it won't do the same thing because it takes a while for people to follow you and whatnot. But if you start sophomore year, game changer. If you want to know a list of camps I recommend, comment the word camp and we can send you a list. If you want more help with your parents, give me a call, links in the bio, or comment the word call.
