What is it like playing Ivy League soccer? Let's find out from Ivy League players right now.
This is Brownman Soccer, day in the life, game day versus Yale.
Game day versus Yale!
First spring season, we were doing tiki-takas. We got a goal last minute and, uh, yeah.
Yeah, I know, good, good composure from Mads on his goal. Zev got the assist in front of his face.
Now, watching a day in the life is great, but obviously all of you want to be there. So I want to ask you a follow-up question. Do you have above a 3.8 GPA? Are you a junior? And are you playing MLS Next or ECNL? And are you a right back, a center back, or center mid? If the answer is yes, you can definitely potentially play Ivy League soccer. If the answer is no, Ivy League soccer is probably not realistic for you. You must be willing to go to Ivy League camps probably 2 to 3 times in order to get recruited, and then they must also see you at a showcase. Most of the showcases they go to are ECNL and MLS Next. If you want more help playing college soccer, give me a call, links in the bio, or comment the word quiz if you want a list of camps that might be right for you given your age, grade, and demographic.
