8 steps to play college soccer. Number 1, start playing club soccer. Number 2, while playing club soccer, be conscious about working your way up to playing ECNL or MLS next. Make sure your highlight video has the goals first, and extra points if you have your coach being interviewed with his voice talking about how great you are. Number 4, college ID camps. Go to college ID camps so that way the coaches can actually see you. Extra points if you email the coaches before you attend the college ID camp. Number 5, use your connections. If your mom's brother's dog is related to the coach, make sure that you reach out to them through that connection. Networking is everything. Number 6, Call, email, and visit.
