How do you go to your dream school and get committed by sophomore year? I'm the College Soccer Guy and I help you play college soccer. We had a student, his name is Ethan Congdon, who committed to Duke by his sophomore year before he even started his junior year. And the way we did that is through 5 steps. Number 1, we went to ID camps as a 7th and 8th grader. Number 2, not only did we identify what his favorite school was, we identified which schools were also schools that would compete with that school. Number 3, we started sending emails to Division III schools and to Division I schools consistently on a monthly basis starting in 8th grade. Number 4, they were playing MLS Next or ECNL, in this case MLS Next, and that's a really important factor. Number 5, we were very, very strong with how we communicated with coaches. We spoke in their language, we responded well, we knew what to say, when to say it, and how to say it. And I, of course, directed that process to make sure that he said exactly what he needed to say. And actually, in Ethan's case, he spoke to one of my coaches the most. He didn't even talk to me. He talked to one of my coaches who were trained on how to get him recruited. If you want help, give me a call. Link's in the bio, and I'll talk to you soon.
