The College Soccer Guy says aspiring players should create 10-12 short "every-touch" videos showcasing all their technical skills and send them to coaches. This strategy can land you at Division III schools and many Division II programs. Good grades still matter, and your phone is enough to film.

If you could only do one thing to play college soccer, this is what that one thing is. I'm the College Soccer Guy and I help you play college soccer in under 60 seconds. Video. If you can only do one thing, you can't— let's say you can't afford to go to camps, say you can't afford to go to a higher club team, video alone can and frankly will get you recruited if you have good video and good grades. And a lot of video, not one good video. I'm talking 10 to 12 every-touch videos sent out consistently. That alone can get you recruited for Division III, very high-level schools, Division Division 1, you will need to get seen in person. And even for most Division 2 and the best D3s, you will still have to get seen in person. But if there's one thing you could only do, it's a video. Which is further to say to you, if you don't do anything else I listen to in all of my freaking videos, please, for the love of goodness' sake, make a gosh darn freaking video. If nobody can record you, that is not an excuse. The coaches do not care. Almost all of us now have an iPhone, so you can record. You must figure out how to record or beg somebody to record you. If you want more help, comment, call. And we can schedule a call with you and your parents to figure out how to get a video recorded of you. I can edit your videos. We can find a way to get your video edited. We can find people to record you. We have to make that happen. If you want more help, comment "call" and we'll schedule a call with you and your parents. Bye.
