Two coaches rate recruiting tactics for high school soccer players aiming for college. Skip NCSA, email coaches yourself with genuine notes, never pay under the table, and let your goal totals speak instead of big claims. Parents stay silent: the player does all the talking.

Call a soccer guy. On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad are these things? Number 1, hiring NCSA.
11. Please, for the love of God, don't do that.
Playing D3.
Oh, amazing. Number 1.
NAIA.
Also number 1. Great scholarships.
Hiring 2 different soccer coaches to analyze your videos.
I don't think you need 2, but it'd be great to have somebody who can do your team footage as well as your individual footage.
Sending emails on a mass basis.
You can send emails on a mass basis, but make sure it's from your own email account and add something genuine for your top schools.
Telling your parent to tell the coach when they should play you.
Never have your parents talk to anybody ever. Mom and Dad, you can tell your kids what to say, but it has to come from them.
Paying the coaches under the table to play at your dream school.
That is a brilliant idea if you want to go to jail, so don't do that.
Telling UCLA that you're the next Ronaldo, and if they don't tell you that they're going to go there, you end up going to USC.
Never tell your opinions to coaches, only give the facts. So if you are Ronaldo, you can say you're Ronaldo and you've scored 100 goals, you can say that, but do not say you will be like another player. Is that what you mean?
No, because they are, so you'll hear it more. They're going to— like, okay, like they're saying you have one chance to sign me or I'm going to Chelsea instead. Okay, I'll do it again. Having one of your students tell Wake Forest that they only have one chance to sign you Or if not, they're gonna go to Chelsea instead.
If you really think you have a chance to go to Chelsea, you better have a European passport because even Calvin Sullivan can't leave the United States, even though he's amazing, because he can't get the dual citizenship passport to get a work visa. So you're better off actually getting recruited to college first and then leaving. So go to Wake Forest.
Should people follow you if they wanna play college soccer?
No, call me.
