What is more important, development or exposure? This depends on how old you are. It's a very good argument to say that from the ages of 4 years old to about 11 years old, it's all about development. My argument would be if you're playing for a team that's all about exposure at 4 years old until 11 years old and you're also not getting better at soccer, well, that's a pretty big problem. Most of the time, if you're part of a club that will one day get exposure, they're probably a good club with good coach and they probably are a good team, which means you're going to be able to develop and get better. This is the nature of the beast. This is why I'm trying to scare you away from playing college soccer. Don't do it. Stop. But if you watch my videos and you're still like, I really want to play at the highest level possible, then you need to understand that where you are from a development perspective will not matter if at some point you don't end up on a team that gets the exposure. And as of today, of this video, that exposure is in MLS Next and ECNL the most. You can definitely still play at higher levels, but I have the stories all the time of my juniors, of my sophomores going, hey, I want to play Division 1. I go, you're not a high enough level, you're not good enough. And that could have been changed had they done things when they were younger. If you
