Why do you need to play ECNL if you're a girl, and when should you start that process? If you're listening to this and you're under the age of 13, you have to focus on going towards ECNL, mainly because that is where the most exposure will be when you play college soccer. You can ask the college soccer gals. You'll see my page there called College Soccer Gals directly for them, and they will tell you themselves. All of them who are playing Division 1 basically played ECNL. You're on a team that's better than ECNL teams, like a Tudela, which which might be better than, you're still going to get a lack of exposure. The coaches have a small budget. They cannot go to every game. So they will go to the game where they can see the most girls at once. You may say to me, well, she's only 12 years old. Well, there's another 12-year-old who's playing ECNL. You may say to me, she's only 9 years old. Well, there's another girl who's in pre-ECNL and she will have the spot and you will not. And it's not fair. It's not a perfect system, but nobody said playing college soccer was easy or that it was fair. What I'm here to tell you is you got to take action if you want to play at ECNL or MLS NEXT. And part of that is video and setting emails. If you want more help, give me a call. Links in the bio. Bye.
